Freddy “KRiMZ” Johansson from fnatic has been handed Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) ban. 26-year-old from Sweden is a two-time major winner. Fnatic had won ESL One: Katowice 2015 and ESL One: Cologne 2015 back-to-back during their peak period. Besides this, he has triumphed at almost 20 premier LAN events since 2013.
- Valve unbanned KRIMZ. Fnatic player Freddy 'KRIMZ' Johansson tweeted that Valve has withdrawn VAC-ban from his account. ESports athlete thanked the CS:GO developers for their prompt work, but did not explain the reasons behind the ban, which he received on November 28.

On opening Johansson’s steam profile, a Valve-Anti-Cheat (VAC) ban is in sight with “0 days since last ban” which apparently means that the 26-year-old received the ban in past 24 hours. However, the game for which the ban is issued is unclear at present.

It appears that Freddy’s VAC in question could well be a glitch in the matrix. Krimz is a highly decorated CSGO player, he has been playing for FNATIC for as long as 5 years in their CSGO lineup before taking a small diversion for GODSENT.
The 26-year-old Swedish is however, not banned on FACEIT, which furthers the theory of a possible error in the Valve’s Anti Cheat systems.
Krimz has been one of the longest standing squad in the CSGO pro scene, playing for Fnatic in his entire career alongside Flusha & JW.

On the contrary, if Krimz’ Steam VAC ban is issued for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, this fiasco will lead to tremors throughout the professional scene. Johansson is a popular figure and him getting VAC banned will have grave repercussions.
