Anyone tried it?

One of the video editors I work with recently switched to CC after the FCPX fiasco, and OMF exports from Premiere CC are awful. It renames files from OMF into giant strings of nonsense.

I am collaborating with a friend who has been doing some multitrack recording in Adobe Audition and I'm trying to get those files into a Logic project. When he sends me an OMF, which contains all of the tracks, Logic will open all of the tracks in the project, with the correct names, but it can't find or connect any of the audio files. About the same price as Adobe Audition, actually. Well WAS until now you have to rent it to use it and keep paying. So for just the editing capabilities does Logic Pro match other music editing programs? Peak was my go to but it's gone. I have played in Audition and I try to love it. Logic is hard to learn, but once learned it could be a dream.

Adobe Audition Or Logic Pro

AAF works awfully.
On the other hand, Audition retains all the information and transforms the project nicely. It's much better if I export audio from a
Audition to Logic Pro X via OMF, than directly. However I'm thinking of working in Audition when working with him because it simplifies things quite a bit.

Anyone has any experience?
